Jacob was a pioneer in Kansas City for Chase as the first Business Banking employee and is homegrown talent raised in KC.  Jacob finished 2021 as the #1 Senior Relationship Manager in the country for Market Expansion based on not just his individual efforts but his investment in others including his peers, partners, and his community.  Jacob is intentional about developing others as well as himself through his involvement in the Chase BB Advisory Board, KC Common Good Board, KIPP KC High School Basketball, MPJ Elite Basketball and beyond.

 Prior to joining Chase in 2019 Jacob spent 10 years in banking holding roles in Business Development, Private Bank, and Commercial Bank and is a graduate of Rockhurst University.  When not at work you will most likely find Jacob in a gym, either working on his own fitness goals or pouring into the next generation as Head Coach of the KIPP KC High School and Michael Porter Jr. Elite Basketball teams.  In his years as a Coach, Jacob has had the opportunity to coach a number of players who have gone on to play at the Division 1 level as well as the NBA.  The list of players includes rising NBA star Michael Porter Jr., Trae Young, and his brother Javier Derritt who is a two time National Champion Football player at North Dakota State University
